MSN Attorneys Named 2025 Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Stars

Massey, Stotser & Nichols, P.C. is proud to announce that attorneys Monica Quinn and Emily McClendon have been selected to the 2025 Super Lawyers Mid-South Rising Stars list, a distinction earned by no more than 2.5% of eligible attorneys in each state.
Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars designation is based on a rigorous, multiphase selection process that includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. To be considered, attorneys must be 40 years old or younger or have practiced for 10 years or less, and must demonstrate significant professional achievement.
Selected to the Rising Stars list for the third consecutive year, Emily McClendon focuses her practice on family law, where she provides compassionate, knowledgeable counsel to individuals navigating sensitive legal matters. Emily earned her J.D. from the Birmingham School of Law in 2016.
Monica Quinn, named to the Rising Stars list for both 2024 and 2025, advises clients on estate planning and probate matters, business/corporate issues, and estate & trust litigation. She graduated from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 2010 and earned her LL.M. in Taxation the following year.
“We are incredibly proud of Monica and Emily for earning a place on this year’s Rising Stars list,” stated attorney Rick Stotser, senior partner at Massey, Stotser & Nichols. “Their unwavering commitments to exceptional client service and passion for their respective practice areas of estate planning and family law reflect the very best of our firm. Both attorneys have earned the trust of their clients and the respect of their colleagues, and this recognition is a testament to their commitment to excellence.”
