Massey, Stotser & Nichols Attorneys Seth Cohen and Emily McClendon Named to Birmingham Business Journal’s 2025 NextGen BHM
Massey, Stotser & Nichols is pleased to announce that two of its attorneys, partner and attorney Seth Cohen and attorney Emily McClendon, have been selected as honorees for the 2025 NextGen BHM list by the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ). The recognition highlights emerging legal professionals making a considerable impact in the Birmingham metro area.
A partner at Massey, Stotser & Nichols, Seth Cohen focuses on the representation of businesses and governmental entities throughout central Alabama. He is active in Leadership Trussville, the Trussville Industrial Development Authority, and the Trussville Chamber of Commerce. Seth joined MSN four years ago and became a partner after just three, reflecting his leadership and client-service excellence.
Attorney Emily McClendon practices primarily in domestic relations and family law, where she combines professionalism and compassion to serve Alabama families. She is an executive committee member of the Birmingham Bar Association and Chair of its ADR Section. Emily is a graduate of both the ABA Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and the AAML Associates Institute, and an active mentor within the local bar community.
The NextGen BHM program celebrates young professionals who are shaping the future of their fields and demonstrating leadership, innovation, and community engagement. According to the BBJ’s description of the award, candidates are evaluated on their contributions to their company and industry, their potential for leadership, and their involvement in the community.
