From the Birmingham area, Michael and his wife, Kristin, live in Hoover with their son, Jack, and dog Lucy. Kristin is the Director of International Admissions at the University of Alabama- Birmingham. The Brymers are members of Bluff Park United Methodist Church.

While not in the office, Michael officiates high school and NCAA football; enjoys traveling, especially to the beach; and spends time with family. Michael is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery Legacy Class 33 (the best class ever) whose service project included fundraising for improvements and the addition of displays at the Air Force Enlisted Heritage Hall on the Maxwell Gunter Air Force Base Annex.

Previously, Michael worked in Montgomery, Alabama, as a staff attorney for the City of Montgomery and as a Deputy District Attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. Since joining the firm, Michael primarily practices in corporate and municipal law using his prior experience as a litigator and city attorney in representing his clients and various municipalities.
