Anne Lamkin Durward is from Birmingham and attended Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she was a charter member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Zeta Iota Chapter. She returned to Birmingham to attend the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She enjoys traveling, playing with her spoiled rotten dogs and spending time with her nephews, niece and numerous godchildren. She has been a coach of the National Moot Court Team with Cumberland for the past nine years which has been a very rewarding experience for her. She is also active in numerous Bar organizations and helped establish the Birmingham Bar Foundation Fellows Program.
