Micah S. Adkins earned his B.S. from the University of Texas, at Dallas, in 2000 and earned his J.D. degree, from the Cumberland School of Law, at Samford University, in 2005. While at Cumberland, he was honored by his fellow classmates as the 2005 Peer Scholarship Recipient and served as an Honor Court Justice.
He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, American Bar Association, Alabama Association for Justice, and the Birmingham Bar Association.
